Taking action is sometimes the hardest thing to do… I talk about different techniques that I know work and my events are filled with different ways to the the power if the Internet and the incredible reach social media offers.
I spoke at an event in Manchester and about a week later I received this email.. It’s a testimony to the power of ACTION!!

Positions 1 to 5 on Google within half a day – the power of Video!!!!
In my ‘other job’ I am a co-director of Agratech NW Ltd. We sell sprayer parts for farmers, amenity contractors and gardeners, along with associated products. Although we sell online, we havent used Video very much but after Andy Phillips’ talk the other night I thought we should revisit this!
Earlier this year we build some custom kit for Lancashire County Council, a ‘de-icing’ sprayer for use with a product called ‘Eco Thaw’. This sprayer is to be used on the highways, as an alternative to salt & grit. Anyway, we had trails videos that, shame on us, we had never uploaded.
I spent an hour yesterday lunchtime uploading 3 very short videos to YouTube, sharing to Twitter & Facebook. Wrote a blog post with a link to the videos and put a product page on our website.
By 4pm we had an email from a consultant who is working with several local authorities who want to use an eco thaw sprayer and need a company to build them. This is potentially worth £10′s of thousands!!
At 5pm I did a search for ‘Eco Thaw Sprayers’ and found Agratech at positions 1 to 5 and 17 & 18 on Google…..we’d shoved the manufacturers of Eco Thaw to position 6!!!!
Amazing! Now need to apply to my property ventures…..
